The organisers of the Zuurberg Weekender are hosting a giveaway on social media to social media followers.
Participants stand a chance to earn a First Ascent Advance 45L Trolley Bag worth R2 350.
From September 20 to 27, 2021, participants will be asked to answer a question on social media about Hayterdale Trails, hosts of the Zuurberg Weekender. By commenting with one of the correct answers, they will be entered into a randomised draw for a chance to receive the prize.
Participants are also encouraged to tag a friend in their comment with who they would most like to experience Hayterdale Trails with.

The following terms and conditions apply:
- Introduction
1.1. Participants in this giveaway are governed by these terms and conditions (the Rules).
1.2. Participants are encouraged to review the Rules before participating in the giveaway. Participants acknowledge that they have been given an appropriate opportunity to do so and that they understand and accept these Rules.
1.3. Participation in the giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Rules and Participants agree to abide by these Rules.
1.4. This competition is operated by the Organisers of the Zuurberg Weekender.
- Participation
2.1. This giveaway is limited to legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa. In addition, the following people shall not be eligible to participate in this giveaway:
2.1.1. Directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Organisers.
2.1.2. People who are not legal residents and/or legal citizens of the Republic of South Africa.
2.1.3. Spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified above.
2.1.4. Persons under the age of 18 years.
- Mechanics
3.1. This giveaway shall commence on September 20, 2021, and end on September 27, 2021.
3.2. Participants take part in the giveaway by successfully answering the question in the social media post.
3.3. Participants are encouraged to visit the Hayterdale Trails website to find the answer.
3.4. Participants will post their answers in the comments section of the giveaway post.
3.5. Participants are encouraged to tag a friend in their comment, however, this is not an entry requirement.
3.6. The Organisers shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this giveaway that may result in a comment “entry” not being successfully submitted.
- Giveaway Prize
4.1. All Participants who comment with the correct answer within the stipulated timeframe will be entered into a randomised draw.
4.2. The “Prize” is a First Ascent Advance 45L Trolley Bag.
4.3. The successful Recipient will be selected by randomised draw on September 28, 2021, and announced on social media on September 29, 2021.
4.4. For the Organisers to contact the Recipient, he/she is encouraged to check that their social media security and privacy settings allow for them to be contacted by the Organisers.
4.5. The Recipient will be given 48 hours to respond to the Organisers with their contact and delivery information. Should the Organisers not hear back from the Recipient within this timeframe, the Organisers will conduct another random selection.
4.6. The Prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
